We are excited to announce a new outreach for seniors here in Stone County, that is now underway through the ministries of McHenry FBC! The CSFP, or Commodity Supplemental Food Program, is an opportunity for a limited number of qualified senior adults to recieve a 30lb box of food items, including a block of cheese, each month for as long as they remain qualified. It is sure to be a huge help for 50 of our seniors in Stone County, and we are glad to be able to make it happen! The program is funded by both Federal and State agencies, and the best part is that it comes at no cost to the recipient!

IMPORTANT NOTE: We have reached the 50 qualified recipients already. However, the CSFP Program will HOPEFULLY expand over the next couple of months, allowing more than 50 recipients! PLEASE continue to spread the word, and complete the form below so we can compile a waiting list of people ready to recieve boxes of commodities as soon as possible!

There are three (3) qualifying factors, all of which are set by the USDA, the Mississippi Food Network, and their associated agencies. The factors must be met, and can not be altered in any way by McHenry FBC, or anyone associated with the CSFP locally. Those are: 1) The APPLICANT must be at least 60 years of age, or older.  2) The applicant's RESIDENCE must be located within Stone County.  3) The applicant's TOTAL GROSS INCOME can not exceed $1,180.00 per month for a single person household. For each additional person, you will add $414.00 to that. For example, if there is a senior 60 or over, and they have a spouse or anyone else living with them, the total gross income for the household can not exceed $1,594.00 monthly. For 3, it is $2,008.00, and so on down the line. Again, these factors must and will be verified, and McHenry FBC nor anyone with the CSFP locally, can alter them in any way.

We are working with other churches, as well as local officials and agencies to identify the 50 people all over the county, so get the information in as soon as you can!
