It really is as simple as "A~B~C"!

Becoming a Christian is truly the simplest thing you will ever do, bar none! But one of, if not the hardest, thing you will ever have to do, is to live the Christian life. Why do we say that? Well, because the world is full of sin, and is not friendly to true Christians! Oh sure, 'ol Satan says "Nah, it's not hard to live as a Christian! Come on...I will show you just how to do it! It's soooo easy!" But don't you fall for that! The world will tell you that it is impossible to do, but it's not friend. Jesus said "With man, it is impossible. But with God, nothing is impossible!" If you really want to become a Christian, and you are ready to trust Jesus as your Lord and savior, then get alone with Him in prayer, and here is all you have to do:

A = Admit to God, that you are a sinner.

That's right friend, you, me, and everyone else you know, or have known, is a sinner. The Bible declares that "All have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." We must admit that to ourselves, and realize that the sin in our life will only separate us from God. BUT, no matter how old you are, how long and hard you have rejected God, nor what you have done in your life...GOD STILL LOVES YOU, and He desires a close, personal relationship with you! Yes, the creator of the entire universe, and all things in it, including you, desperately desires a loving relationship with 'lil 'ol YOU! So, why not admit it to yourself and to God right now, that you are a sinner? Ask Him to firgive you of those sins, repent of them and don't do them any more, and He will do it! The Bible promises that "If we confess our sins to Him, he is faithful and just to forgive our sin, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Do that now, and be free forever!

B = Believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son.

Jesus is God's only Son, and God sent Jesus to this world for one reason, and that was to take the penalty of sin from you. To Bible says that "without shedding of blood, there can be no remission of sin." Jesus lived a sinless life while on this earth, even though He was tempted with all that we are tempted with. Through all temptations, He remained faithful to the Father, and in that, became the perfect sacrifice. Jesus Himself said "For this is the blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." In the hours following that declaration, Jesus was arrested, and the following day He was severely beaten, and then crucified on a cross at Calvary where He died. That afternoon, just before dark, His lifeless body was removed from the cross, and laid in a tomb which was sealed and guarded by Roman soldiers. They knew if they failed, it would cost them their lives as well! But on the third day...a Sunday morning...an angel came and rolled the stone away! Jesus was not there, for God had raised Him from the dead, just as He said! He's alive today friend, seated at the right hand of the Father! One day soon, He will return to gather all those who have trusted in Him, and take them to live with Him in glory forever! If you would but believe that with your heart, you too can be in heaven through eternity! That's what Jesus wants for you and everybody! But if you continue to reject that, continue to serve self, Satan, and the world, and never believe or trust in Jesus as Lord and savior of your life, then you will spend eternity away from God, in a place made for the devil and his angels. A real place, called hell. That is what Satan wants for you. Question is, what do you want!? John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life." That is not some idle statement friend, that is a promise from God! Won't you believe right now?

C = Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord!

Now you may be thinking that this is "the catch" to all this. You're probably thinking that you can't do this part. I'm here to tell you, "YES YOU CAN!" Once you A - admit to God that you are a sinner, and ask Him to forgive you. Then B - believe in your heart that He's done that, and that Jesus is God's Son, and that He was crucified for your sins, died for them because He didn't commit any, was buried, and on the 3rd day, rose again, then you will see that C - confessing with your mouth to the world that Jesus Christ is Lord, is not impossible for you! When you truly realize all that God has done for you in your life, you will have no problem confessing Him before men!  The Bible states "For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Doesn't mean you have to be a preacher or anything, it just means that you won't be ashamed of Jesus, and that you will live a life that confesses to all that it is being lived for Jesus!

REALLY, that is ALL THERE IS TO IT!

Yes, it is just that simple to do! "Can't be!" Well, it is! "He doesn't want me, I've been too bad for too long!" Friend, I'm telling you from personal experience, not what I think, but rather what I KNOW! How can I know that? Because He done it for me, and if He will do it for me, He will surely do it for you! The Bible says that nobody who truly believes and calls on Jesus for forgiveness will be turned away! NOBODY! "Who ever calls on the name of the Lord SHALL BE SAVED." Not might be, not can be, but WILL BE! Why don't you do that right now, and let the love of Jesus fill your heart? He will lift your burdens, and set you free for eternity...if you will let Him!

Maybe you have read this, and you still aren't sure of what to do. Well, all you need to have is the true desire to be saved, and just simply go to the Lord in prayer. In your own words, just like if you were talking to a friend, pray to Jesus like this: "Lord Jesus, I realize now that I am a sinner, and that I need forgiveness of those sins. I believe that you are God's only Son, and that you came to this earth to provide a path of redemption that anyone could take, and I am taking it now. I know that you died for me, because I have sinned. I also know that God raised you up from the grave on the third day, and that you are alive today. Forgive me Lord Jesus, and save my soul. I commit my life to you, and I will live it for you from this moment forward, so that all may know that You are Lord and savior. Thank You for saving my soul! Now, help me as I grow and learn, use me as You  would to spread this good news to all who need to know, as I receive this today...in Jesus name, Amen." Friend, if you prayed that prayer, or one similar to it, and you meant it in your heart, you are a Christian, saved now, and forever more!
